Working in collaboration with festival director and curator jamie lewis hadley, Paula and Jamie will be interviewing and photographing a selection of barbers and barbershops across East London. The result will be a newspaper publication that will survey the cultural, racial and religious barbering practices, histories and aesthetics that exist within the East End in the Twenty First Century.
